Ukrainian Association for Analytical Psychology
The Ukrainian Association for Analytical Psychology (UAAP) is a professional organization that brings together specialists in the Jungian psychoanalytic tradition and provides training in Jungian analysis in accordance with the international standards established by the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).
Although the UAAP was formally established in 2022, the origins of analytical psychology in Ukraine can be traced back to 2004, when the Ukrainian Developing Group was founded. This group served as the foundation for the formation of a professional analytical community in Ukraine, which subsequently evolved into a fully recognized national association.
A major milestone in the history of the Ukrainian analytical movement was the official recognition of the UAAP by the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). In August 2025, during the XXIII International Congress for Analytical Psychology held in Zurich, Switzerland, the UAAP received official accreditation as a training institute, meeting all international IAAP requirements and standards.
At present, the UAAP functions as a platform for professional development, education, supervision, and interdisciplinary exchange within the field of analytical psychology. The Association comprises professionals at various stages of training and offers several categories of membership — full, affiliated, and associate — thereby fostering openness, inclusivity, and the gradual advancement of the professional analytical community in Ukraine.
